Dr. Smita Joshi is a committed clinician, educator, and researcher. She is the only pediatric dermatologist in Nepal. After completing her post-graduation at the prestigious Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India, she honed her teaching and research abilities during her seven-year tenure at the Department of Dermatology, Nepal Medical College in Kathmandu. Notably, she was awarded the DEBRA international grant for epidermolysis bullosa training at Great Ormond Street Hospital in the UK. Further enhancing her expertise, she undertook a one-year clinical fellowship in Pediatric Dermatology at The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, Canada. Her focus encompasses the treatment of both common and rare pediatric dermatoses, along with expertise in dermoscopy and contact dermatitis.
